Where should I buy an apartment on my budget?
Most people start from an area and try to fit a budget to it. It also works the other way round: start from the budget and the needs, and get a list of areas that genuinely fit — including ones you had not thought of.
- Areas ranked by genuine fit, not by popularity
- You decide what matters — price, liquidity, parking, density
- Areas that fit the budget, not a wish list
No sign-up, no credit card. The quick report opens immediately.
Where should I buy?
What is your purchase budget?
A rough total — you can adjust later.
How we calculate the report
No magic and no black box. Four steps, each resting on data you can point at.
- 1
We start from the budget
Your budget and equity set the boundaries of the search. An area that does not fit inside them simply does not appear.
- 2
We collect your preferences
Seven measurable dimensions: price fit, liquidity, family profile, ownership stability, parking, density and education. You rank what matters to you.
- 3
We rank the areas
Each area receives a fit score according to your weights. Change the weights and the ranking changes — because the same place does not suit everyone.
- 4
We explain every result
Each area is shown with what it is strong at and where it is weaker, so you can disagree with the ranking rather than merely accept it.
When this report helps
Three situations people come to us with — and what exactly they take away.
Buying a first home
With no strong prior preference, starting from the budget saves months of searching in areas that were never realistic.
When the budget will not stretch to the area you wanted
Find out which nearby areas do fit, and what the same sum buys there.
A family looking for fit, not only price
When parking, density or the family profile of an area matter every bit as much as the price per m².

What this report does not do
The ranking rests on statistical data at area level, not on the features of a building or a flat. It does not account for specific schools, commute times, future planning schemes or your personal impression of a place.
Data sources
The lists of settlements, streets and neighborhoods are based on the Israeli government open data portal (data.gov.il). Population and household figures come from the 2022 Census of Population and Housing, Central Bureau of Statistics.
MethodologyFrequently asked questions
Where does the area data come from?
From Israel's open government datasets: the settlement and street registries, and the 2022 Census of Population and Housing by the Central Bureau of Statistics. All public sources, presented here organised and free.
Can I ask you to suggest areas for me?
Yes. On the area question you can choose "suggest for me" and select nothing — the ranking then runs across the whole country according to your budget and preferences.
Does the ranking account for schools and transport?
Only for what official data can measure. Education and density are included; rankings of specific schools and commute times are not — and we would rather say so than imply a figure exists where it does not.
Does this replace visiting the area?
Not at all. It tells you which areas are worth the drive — the impression of the place itself is yours, and nothing substitutes for it.
Do I need to register?
Not for the quick ranking. SMS verification is needed only to save the result to your account and return to it.
